Today, the Euro 2008 Quarter-Finals have started.

Germany beat Portugal today.  While the Portugese side did very well in taking the champions title for their group, Germany snapped up their hopes for 08.  The game got very exciting in the last minutes as Portugal scored a goal to make the final score 3-2.

Today a stunned Czech side lost to Turkey.  As I have recently stated before, today’s match between these two teams would determine who would go home and who would move on.

Some further speculation on the Barcelona front.  I would like to address that current boss Frank Rijkaard is on his way out.  While that is not set into stone yet, all sources point to that direction.
Currently there are many favorites and possibly bosses for Barca.  However, I think two are the front-runners.
