Sergio Aguero is apparently very happy at Atletico Madrid, though he has also insisted that he is very pleased at the fact that he is being linked to Chelsea. The speculations ran high over the summer that Aguero was moving to Stamford Bridge and that Atletico had refused a bid of £35 million. Sergio Aguero made the most of the opportunity to impress Carlo Ancelotti, the Chelsea boss, the other night when he played beautifully to score two stunning goals against the Premier League club in a match that ended in a draw with the score of 2-2.

The Gael Kakuta affair means that Chelsea are presently unable to sign anyone until 2011, but Blues will be able to sign players once the Court of Arbitration for Sport confirms that the punishment has been lifted. Lifting the punishment pending an appeal hearing would mean Chelsea would be able to sign players in January. Chelsea having lost players like Didier Drogba and Michael Essien would look to strengthen their squad once the transfer ban is lifted in January. The club is most likely to rope in Aguero but the Argentinean is not likely to take any part in Champions League until 2010-11.

Aguero admitted that he had heard about Chelsea tracking him over the summer in addition to the other teams, though nothing came to him. However, he expressed his happiness at Atletico. Aguero is not thinking much about playing in any other team and is looking for a long tie with the club.

Prince Faisal, the Saudi Royal has shown his desire in Liverpool and is expected to bid for a major take in the club. George Gillett who happens to be the co-owner of the club would be visiting Saudi Arabia to discuss the details with the prince. The representative of the prince, Barry Didato informed the media that the stake of the prince could be anything from zero to 100%, although the Prince himself has some concerns about the relationship between the owners of the club and its debt situation.

The relationship between the owners of the Liverpool club is a little strained at the moment. The point to consider here is that under the current regulations, none of the two owners can sell their stake without the approval of the other and the prince has been holding talks with only Gillett and not Tom Hicks who happens to be the other partner.

Didato also admitted that prince would not be much interested in getting involved unless the debt situation and the relationship between the partners are improved. The current debt level is higher than the expectation of the prince and so an investment may not be coming from his side any sooner. The prince apparently has no intentions of a takeover.

Hicks and Gillett have already expressed their desire of attracting some investments for their club but they confirmed that the process is at a fairly early stage and no agreement has been made with any party so far. Didato also admitted that the prince is really passionate about the game and has a great amount of respect for the club and their fanbase.
