Rio Ferdinand

Rio Ferdinand is all set to make his Premiere League comeback after an almost 3 months lay off due a knee injury. He played for around 45 minutes in a Manchester Senior Club game against Oldham Athletic and looked just about fine.  Ferdinand is showing signs on fast recovery and is expected to make to the side very soon. He has been instrumental in Manchester United’s successes over the last few years and the fans as well as the team would be looking forward to his comeback.

The England captain suffered a knee injury during a training session with the national side just before the World Cup. He had to miss the finals earlier this year. It was hoped that he would be fit to play at the start of the season but that was recently ruled out by Sir Alex Fergusan. The United fan’s had another setback when it was announced that he would not be able to join the side until later this month.

It was a great to see Rio Ferdinand back in action as Paul Scholes watched from the stands and other Manchester United players rubbing shoulder against him. After the disappointment of last season, Manchester United will want to make amends this time round and Rio Ferdinand will play a crucial role if Manchester is to win this year.

It remains to be seen how soon Ferdinand makes a comeback, but the team as well as fans will hope that he get fit to play soon at the earliest and help Manchester United regain the English title.

Poor Wayne. He worked hard but didn't have any service. Shocked that United went out, but its all they deserved.

hey jason, nice article, and definitely something to think about. It is true that there is a huge gulf between say club soccer, high school soccer, and college level soccer. You know that I want to play at the NCAA level, but I do understand that, realistically, I'm just not
