Manchester United beats arch rival Liverpool in EPL2

The excitement in the English Premier League just refuses to cease as Manchester United regained the lead in the table after defeating their arch rival Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday. The match ended with a score of 2-1 in favor of Manchester United. Liverpool took the initiative with the Fernando Torres’ header that came in the seventh minute of the match. Manchester United, thanks to the goal by Wayne Rooney and the header from park Ji-Sung who came in the second half, managed to get the better of their rivals.

The victory has taken Manchester United at the top of the table and two points clear of Arsenal. Chelsea has the opportunity to move alongside Arsenal, provided they emerge victorious at Blackburn Rovers. The defeat on the other hand has meant that Liverpool find themselves in the fifth place in the overall standings. They are behind Tottenham Hotspur and a place in the final Champions League by another four points. Manchester United beats arch rival Liverpool in EPL
