Roy Hodgson, West Brom boss, claims that Peter Odemwingie is not available for sale and he will be there for Hawthorns in next season. Rumours were floating around that the Nigerian player will be exchanged for Andrew Johnson and will move to Fulham. However, Hodgson put an end to all these speculations.

Odemwingie has got 10 goals in his pocket for this season inspite of an injury. Not only this, he was the top scorer last season with 15 goals to his credit. According to Roy, Peter is under contract and is a very important player for the team.

He wants to keep the player in the team. What led to all these rumors is the fact that Albion has many players who are out of contract or are in their last year of contract. The list includes Keith Andrews, Jonas Olsson, Nicky Shorey etc. However, Hodgson claims that it is part and parcel of this time and year and the squads won’t be finalized till August, just like every year.

William Gallas, Tottenham defender, is now ready and willing to play for the team. Boosting the confidence of Tottenham, the player is ready to take on his former club Chelsea at Wimbley for the semi-final FA Cup on Sunday. The 34 year old was suffering from calf problem due to which he missed the match against Norwich.

Younes Kaboul suffered knee injury and Michael Dawson is not in the season, so Gallas can go straight into the team and join Ryan Nelsen and Ledley King. The central defender thinks that he is all fit to take on Chelsea who will not have Branislav Ivanovic as he is under 3 match ban for violent conduct. Also, Jose Bosingwa is not in his full form. So chances for Tottenham winning the match are pretty bright. The fitness boost of William Gallas will turn a boon for the team, looking at Chelsea’s camp. Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp seems optimistic about it. Wishing both the team more luck and more power as the battle will begin soon.

Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo is the apple of eyes of Real Madrid assistant coach Aitor Karanka these days. Karanka is not leaving a single opportunity to praise him. Ronaldo, being the top scorer in La Liga with 40 goals so far, is one goal ahead of Lionel Messi from Barcelona.

Karanks thinks that the entire team is focusing strongly only on winning and Ronaldo’s brilliance is a strong driving force behind them. He thinks that the entire team agrees to it. According to Karanka, Ronaldo proves himself as best in every match that he plays and knows importance of the team.

Aitor Karanka considers next match with Sporting as an important match as they have lost their last home game. He said that they cannot afford to loose another one.

Jose Mourinho, real hard coach, said that only the players who are in the best of their forms will play. Obviously, he has Ronaldo in his mind. Considering Sporting as a dangerous team, he said that they are nearing relegation zone, so it becomes all the more important to win the match at any cost. The three points are vital and a tie won’t suffice.

West Bromwich stunned everybody with their 3-0 win over Blackburn Rovers, thereby surviving Premier League. The seventh minute goal by Martin Olsson shifted West Brom 11 points above relegation zone. The point worth noting is that the goal left Blackburn in bottom three.

Rovers substitute Anthony Modeste clashed with Albion defender Billy Jones and he was sent off, a big jerk for Blackburn. Foster, former England keeper, successfully saved a double in second half to prevent West Brom’s lead. However, Albion’s 69th minute goal was savior for the team leading to the victory. The cherry on the cake was their last goal when only five minutes were left when defender Ridgewell got a free kick from Graham Dorrans.

While West Bromwich is partying hard, a bad day for Blackburn is all that everybody is saying.

Luis Enrique, coach of Roma, is in no mood to leave the club and wants to stay connected with the team for another five years. His long term plans are very promising and beneficial for the team. He loves to think that the club’s fans still have faith in the team despite their Serie A defeats. In Serie A, Roma is placed at 6th position and is five points behind Napoli which is at 5th position.

Enrique’s contract with Roma will expire in 2013 and he is very loyal to the team. Though he was not able to share much on team’s captain Francesco Totti’s Sicily trip on Saturday to play Palermo. Francesco was reported with some thigh problem due to which he opted out of training.

Enrique was little concerned about his match in Sicily because the players have just experienced a demoralising defeat. Despite all that, Enrique’s faith in players mental toughness is intact.

Roberto Di Matteo seems to be unaffected by any pressure at Chelsea. In fact, he is very confident of reviving Chelsea’s fading performance under the supervision and hawk eye gaze of the owner Roman Abramovich.

Di Matteo feels positive as everyone is by his side. He spoke to every player individually and made sure that everybody is heading in the right direction. Not only this, DI Matteo stood by the side of goal shy striker Fernando Torres by saying he is a fantastic and tremendous player and if the team wins, no one is worried about him not scoring a goal. Isn’t it a big chunk of motivation for the players? No wonder, the entire squad is screaming in unison.

The former Blues midfielder appear very strong as he thinks that if you can’t handle the pressure at any club, you are not worth a part of the result driven business as there is a pressure to achieve targets in every sphere of life. Quite impressive – isn’t it?

The 23 year old Muamba, had a cardiac arrest when his heart stopped beating for 78 minutes a week ago. His message came as a big boost for the players when they had a 2-1 win over Blackburn at Reebok Stadium. His fiancée Shauna and father Marcel delivered the message for him.

Owen Coyle, Bolton Manager, thanked everybody for their efforts and said that players had a tough time physically and mentally but it is very less when compared to Fabrice’s fight. Blackburn Manager, Steve Kean also wished speedy recovery for Fabrice Muamba.

Known to be the playmaker of the Inter Milan club, Wesley Sneijder is hoped to make a dramatic return to the team for a hard-hitting fight against the AC Milan. Sneijder is out of the club since November 2 when he had a pulled muscle problem but now fast recovering, he is good enough to make his return to the team. He may also be accompanied by two other mates, defender Andrea Ranocchia and midfielder Dejan Stankovic who were also injured and out of the team. The coach of the team Claudio Ranieri too seems to be quite confident of the team who has recently made triumph in its all last five matches. He also says that the pressure by them on Milan this time will be high.

Speaking about Milan, there are probabilities of the Brazilian striker Pato getting replaced by Robinho. It is an incident of Pato’s linking found and rumored with Paris Saint-Germain in the January transfer window as is alleged by the media of France and Italy. So, Pato has rested all the decision on the club and his future is very soon to be destined.

The Italian football club, AS Roma is more dependant and confident on the youth and they have, hence, continued to engage young players. A recent investment of the club is the Uruguayan striker Nicolas Lopez from Nacional, the Uruguayan sports institution.

Arsène Wenger, the manager of the Arsenal is high in his determinations of making the team qualify in the Champions League. He is really serious and has great plans and aspirations from the third round of the game to be held on the Monday night. The manager, however, is proud at the performance of his club for making it 14 seasons in succession to the Champions League group phase. He even is of this opinion that out of the Champions League clubs, it is the Arsenal and the Chelsea who are the real players and even though not today, but once in the future people will realize how tough it is to win it.
