The current leaders of the Bundesliga title race, the Bayern Munich and the Borussia Dortmund, are anticipated to have a tight affair for grabbing the title says the ex- Germany striker Karl-Heinz Riedle. The title is to be decided later this year in May.

He spoke about the vital BVB stars Jurgen Klopp, Marco Reus and Mario Gotze. The World Cup champion tagged 22-year-old Marco Reus as a top transfer. The 46 year old also believes that the current star of Dortmund, Mario Gotze, who is closely associated with Arsenal, Real Madrid and Bayern will also abscond Dortmund one day.

Riedle when asked about the coach Jurgen Klopp he said that Jurgen Klopp is the best thing ever happened to Dortmund. And the figures are all in the coach’s favor since he has joined in 2008. After his arrival, the Ruhr side finished sixth and fifth before ultimately winning the Bundesliga title in 2010-11.

The former Germany striker Karl-Heinz Riedle supposes the Bundesliga title race will go down to the wire. Riedle said his former club Borussia Dortmund will be neck-and-neck with current leaders Bayern Munich when the title is decided in May.

Hoffenheim has always given a tough competition to Nurnbergsince long during Bundesliga matches. Out of the four Bundesliga games between Hoffenheim and Nurnberg, two have been won by Hoffenheim and other two were draw, despite severe attempts by theNurnbergteam.

In the last nine Bundesliga games, these are the only two teams who have picked up few points. In May, Hoffenheim beatNurnberg2-1 but before that the team lost all the games.

Can you believe the irony ofNurnberg’s last eight league goals as all these goals were done by eight different players? There has been a very slight margin of just one goal forNurnbergin their last four wins. Both the teams have their own positives and negatives and no one can say which one is better.

It is reported that Barrios came off the bench for Paraguay in the 76th minute during their 3-0 defeat to Uruguay but in the course of the action he somehow damaged his thigh muscle, which is still under pain.

The time remaining for the Bundesliga campaign to kick start is just 2 weeks. This man once scored 16 goals for the German champions last year but this time he’s going to miss the campaign all together.

This 26 year old soccer player is very upset about this setback due to his prolonged injury.

The switch in coaches for the German clubs is getting so frequent that to keep a tap of who’s in and who’s out is really getting difficult.

Let’s look at the new changes and see what is in store for future for these teams. The last change seen this past weekend was that of Louis van Gaal, who was sacked from being the coach of Bayern Munich. This new change of the season is now making the coach changes a worrying site for many.

Moreover, the interim coach Andries Jonker, who was appointed in place of Van Gaal for a temporary period, is also soon to get replaced by Jupp Heynckes, the Leverkusen coach. On the other hand, Frieburg’s Robin Dutt will take the place of Jupp Heynckes as coach of the Leverkusen team.

These coming changes will make the total count of coaches being changed so far as 15 by July 2011. Out of total 18 Bundesliga clubs, ten teams have made changes so far since May 2010. Moreover, it is believed that out of the total 15 changes, nine coaches were dismissed due to poor performance.

The Bavaria team is amongst the top five in Europe this season.

Bayern Munich, the reigning German champions is at the third position in Bundesliga series just 13 points behind the table toppers Borussia Dortmund.

Arjen Robben says that it would be difficult for Bayern to win the Bundesliga this season. However, the team has more chances of winning the trophy at the Champions League. There are chances that the domestic title might go out of the hands of the defending champions this season.

The Bayern Munich winger also stated that winning the Champions League is also not going to be a very easy task. It would be equally tough too. However, Bayern Munich being the one of the top five teams in Europe, there are high hopes.

Bayern Munich played the Champions League holders in their first knockout round of the Champions League.

At 14th position, with just three points above getting into relegate zone, Bremen is fighting hard for survival. After being faced with 39 goals from the teams they played against in the 19 games so far this tournament, Werder Bremen really doesn’t seem to be that confident anymore.

On the other hand, Bayern with its fourth-rank and with a score of 27 goals in seven matches so far is in full winning mode and confidant. Bayern Munic striker, Mario Gomez, who is the joint top scorer in Bundesliga would get an opportunity to have an edge as the team heads towards the semifinals of the German Cup.

Striker Arjen Robben, who is recovering from ill health is suppose to be fit for the match, whereas Franck Ribery will not be included due to injury. After Mark van Bommel, the former Bayern Munich captain signed with AC Milan, this is the first game that the team is playing without him.

After losing last weekend, Thomas Schaaf, the Werder Bremen coach is quite under pressure after the and spent a lot of time on training this week.

After the Italian football club Juventus and the English Premier League Manchester City, Liverpool is now making quite an effort to sign one of the best strikers of the day.

As per reports, Liverpool has joined the existing teams to have the best player with them. It is even said that this Bundesliga club have no issues in a possible player exchange program. The team is all set to take in Edin Dzeko and replace him with players like Daniel Agger or Ryan Babel. Edin Dzeko, the Bosnian footballer that plays forward for Wolfsburg is known to have a release clause of over €40 million in his contract paper. And it looks hard for Liverpool to gather that much cash, which is why the team want to barter players instead.

But, teams like Juventus and Manchester City are already in the way to woo the 24-year-old striker to sign the deal. In an earlier statement Edin Dzeko had suggested that he wants to leave the Bundesliga. Moreover, the player expressed interest in playing in Italy’s Serie A. With this news in air, all the teams have rushed in forward to sign the best deal with Dzeko.

Interestingly, this is a comeback match for Pizarro after his muscle injury during his game as a substitute in Champions League that saw a victory against Internazionale with a score of 3-0 last week.

Even Claudio Pizarro’s coach Thomas Schaaf is very excited about the clash with Borussia Dortmund and says that the performance of the players would depend on the training scheduled on the day before the game, but for Claudio each game is important to get him back into action. The coach expects a powerful clash against the league leaders.

On the other hand, Borussia Dortmund will see the coming back of their striker Lucas Barrios, who was out in the last match due to knee injury. Amongst other interesting piece of news this week, the return of Paraguay international Barrios for training is much exciting the viewers. On the other hand, VfL Wolfsburg’s Josue is expected to play against Kaiserslautern as per the coach Steve McClaren. However, striker Mario Mandzukic is not sure of his fitness. Josue, the Brazilian midfielder was out due to knee injury whereas Mandzukic is undergoing treatment for an ankle injury.

FC Timisoara will play against Vfb Stuttgart in the champions League. Although Timisoara has the likes of Winston Parks, the Die Schwaben seem the favorites to advance to the group stage in Champions League where they are expected to join Wolfsburg and Bayern Munich. Rothosen are certain of progressing to the next round where they will be joined by Hertha Berlin and Werder Bremen. Hertaha Berlin will have to get the better of Denmark’s brondby IF if they are to make it to the group stages of the Europa League.

Werder Bremen, who are the top seeded team in the Europa League would play against the lowest seeded team of FK Aktobe of Kazakhstan and are the obvious favorites. However any change in the fortune of FK Aktobe would ensure a major upset in European Club football in a long time. The group stages of the European Club football have meant that the four Bundesliga sides are almost more than likely to progress.

The clubs have an added responsibility of performing in the Champions and Europa League in the presence of the German clubs in the group stage and their respective performance may also decide as to who makes it to the top in the Bundesliga table this time around. The race for Bundesliga title has meant the Champions League has become much tighter and has created a new level of significance.
