After spending over a decade in Europe, Portuguese midfielder and former Chelsea player, Deco is excited at the prospect of returning to Brazil and is looking forward to the challenge. The Brazil born midfielder has left English champions Chelsea to join Brazilin club Fluminense, the league-leader.
It has been a longtime dream for Deco to come back and play in his birthplace and after spending about 13 years playing for some of the best clubs across Europe, he will bring in rich experience for the Brazilian club.
Deco still had another year left in his contract with Chelsea, but he didn’t feel motivated enough to continue and wanted something that he always desired for, as he approaches the twilight of his highly decorated career. He has also hinted that Fluminense could be his last football club.

This Spanish side, which also won the European championship in 2008, has proved that Spain is no longer a side that always faltered at the world stage. It took them almost two hours to defeat the Dutch 1-0 and it was Iniesta’s superb strike that enabled Spain to conquer the world.
